Joanne Gibson comes from a diverse musical family in Trinidad Tobago, learning her craft from an early age sing-ing in church and countless talent shows in the Caribbean bringing home numerous awards. Her professional ca-reer started with a ten months engagement in India, performing for several 5 star hotels throughout the country. HottChoklit’s strong passion for music and performance was noticed by many major local recording artists, most notably Denyse Plummer and David Michael Rudder whom she sang background vocals in the studio and live per-formance. In 2001 HottChoklit continued to perform internationally with Caribbean soca bands becoming one of the most requested acts for the Carnival Cruise line, her versatile vocals and the love for variety of popular American music has led her to join a Chicago based, variety dance “The Metrotone Band” currently performing aboard luxury cruise ships. In 2010 HottChoklit profound her skills by signing up for vocal training and drama class with the re-nowned local experts Glenda Collins and Lyla Passad.
Vic’s music career started in Canada where he worked tirelessly with many touring bands, later moving to Chicago pursuing his passion for R&B music, working extensively with the best in the business, such as Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Ike Turner, Steve Miller, Jimmy Rodgers, touring nationally and internationally. Also performing at the promi-nent Chicago Blues festival several times, with “Betty Everett” singing her hit ” The Shoop Shoop Song (It’s in His Kiss) ” Vic Herold recorded several sound tracks and filmed in a Walt Disney – Kathleen Turner movie “V.I. War-shawski.
Gordon has lived and worked in Connecticut, NYC, Boston, Nashville, Key West, Reno/
Tahoe, Mississippi Gulf Coast, New Orleans, Austin, and Florida. These diverse environments have given Gordon a unique musical background. Performing throughout the US and Europe, since the age of 15, Gordon has recorded and/or toured most notably with: The John Entwistle Band (The Who), KISS, Aztec Two-Step, Jaimo (Allman Bros Band), Johnny Rodriquez, Danica.
Jeff comes from a musical family, his father is an independent drum maker and craftsman. Jeff has been perform-ing all over the world most notably with recording artists Vonray and Peter Furler. While living in Nashville Jeff was a house drummer for Electra Records and proudly endorsing Meinl cymbals and Crush drums.
Jeff Irizarry experienced in gospel and R&B gives a diverse flavor to Metrotone delivering driving bear
