Is a dynamic guitarist/vocalist, songwriter/ producer. He have performed from a young age having grown up in a musical environment playing with and learning from local session and professional guitarist’s playing pubs and clubs and parties. At the age of 16 he studied at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music achieving a double distinction in Higher National Diploma in Guitar and Performance. During his time studying in Brighton he had the opportunity to play with and was tutored by several world-renowned guitarists including Mark Knopler from Dire Straits and Jim Williams from M People. Throughout his career he has played in the UK and abroad with several national and international bands as well as creating my own project three-piece band, Dan Hughes Trio (DHT). He wrote, produced and recorded 2 EP’s for DHT which are sold on Amazon and I Tunes. On average, he perform 200 gigs a year playing both solo and in bands. In addition,he has a passion for teaching music and have taught guitar for the last 10 years to a variety of ages and abilities.
