If you need a fun guy to cheer you up, to make you sing along, clap your hands, tap your feet, to make you Party-Party, GEORGE is your man. Touring Scandinavia with the Joker Band and Paralax, both very successful dance bands, has made him an expert in finding the right musical approach to any kind of audience. At the same time George is using all musical requests, as a hint, to build a long and useful song list. During the last 5 years of working as a troubadour, it has extended to about 250 songs. Most of the so called “singalong songs”, George is playing with just his acoustic guitar and singing. This gives him a chance to perform the song in any form according to the mood of the audience and involve them in clapping and singing, especially in his huge reportoar of traditional Irish songs. But when it comes to Rock’n Roll George is ready to rumble. That’s the moment when he uses his background accompaniment, mostly bass and rhythm tracks, to create the feeling of a live band. Here’s where his guitar virtuosity comes handy. Songs from Gary More, Santana, Thin Lizzy, Toto, Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, … to name but a few, together with variety of 50′-60′ Rock ‘nRoll classics, are his speciality. Add to all of this his great sence of humor and his warm personality. Then you’ll find out why George has been the “we want you back again here” guy on all the Viking Line and Color Line cruising ships since 1998 as well as in many pubs all over Scandinavia and France.
